WARRANTY
5 Year Parts and Labour Warranty with all our Products.
The authorized agents of the Company shall free of charge (subject to providing the Company with the purchase receipt or delivery note) repair, or at its option, replace defective Products, where the defects appear under proper use within five (5) years from the date of delivery (the “Warranty Period”), provided that: notice in writing of the defects complained of shall be given to the Company immediately upon the date of their appearance, and after thorough investigation, such defects shall be found to the Company’s reasonable satisfaction to have arisen solely from the Company’s faulty design, workmanship or materials.
Any repaired or replaced Products shall be redelivered by the Company free of charge to the original point of delivery. Any parts of the Product that have been replaced shall become the property of the Company.
The Customer acknowledges that any work of repair or replacement carried out by the Company shall not renew or extend the Warranty Period.
This Warranties section shall be subject to and without prejudice to any consumer rights granted under the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Please note that the removal of the plug top will invalidate your warranty.
The warranty is only valid from an authorized stockist.
The Warranty is non transferable and must remain with the original purchaser.
For all Warranty claims, a valid proof of purchase is required.
The Company reserves the right to reject a repair/replacement request or charge the Customer for such repair/replacement where the defect is due to non-compliance with the installation and/or servicing instructions or misuse of the Product. The Company shall assess the defect and provide the Customer with feedback within Fifteen (15) days from the date of the repair/replacement request.
The Company shall not bear the cost or reimburse the costs of any third party who carries out any repair/replacement of the Product or fits parts at the request of the Customer, unless the Customer obtains the prior written consent of the Company.
Replacement of either parts of the Product or the whole Product shall be subject to assessment of the Product’s viability by the Company, at its sole discretion. If any part is no longer available (e.g. particular colour variations), we will replace it with a functional replacement part.
The warranty covers:
a) Lights
b) Heater Element
c) Main Board
d) Circuit Board
e) Flame rod and Motor
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear, including parts that might wear out over time e.g. fuses and batteries
b) Woodwork
c) Glass
d) Fuel bed items (logs, crystals, slate)
e) Damage caused by faulty installation, theft, tampering, neglect, misuse, accident, fire, flood, explosion, lightning, storms, frost or other bad weather conditions.
f) Accidental damage
g) The damage was caused by the non-observance of the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
h) Damage from external sources such as transit, weather, electrical outages or power surges.
i) Any unauthorized adjustments made to the product by a third party.
j) Servicing and its associated costs.
k) Self-maintenance tasks such as cleaning.
l) Failures caused by circumstances outside of our control.
m) Negligent use, misuse, neglect or careless operation of the product
n) Use of the Product which is not in accordance with our user manual
o) Use of parts and accessories which are not our genuine components.
USER MANUAL
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to people, including the following:
Read and understand the entire owner’s manual, including all safety information, before plugging in or using the product. Failure to do so could result in fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury.
b) The heater is hot when in use or has been used. To avoid burning, do not touch the hot surface. If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains, at least 1m from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear. In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
c) Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used near children or the infirm and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
d) Always unplug the heater when not in use.
e) Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped damaged in any manner, return the heater for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
f) Indoor use only, do not use outdoors.
g) The heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water containers.
h) Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange the cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tipped over.
i) To disconnect the heater, turn the controls off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
j) Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening, as this may cause an electric shock or fire or damage the heater.
k) To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings many become blocked.
l) A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline or flammable liquids are used or stored.
m) Use this heater only as described in the manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
n) High temperatures may be generated under certain abnormal conditions. Do not partially or fully cover or obstruct the front of this heater.
o) Replacement of the lamps should be done only while the heater is disconnected from the supply circuit.
p) This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
q) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
r) CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
s) Electric sockets in residential rooms should comply with the 6/12 spacing requirements; this comes from the NEC and states that in a living area of a home, you must keep an electrical socket (outlet) 6 feet from any obstruction or break in the wall, such as a doorway and no more than 12 feet from the previous electrical socket.
t) Whilst electric fires are very safe, we recommend you only plug into a mains socket; do not use an extension lead as the extension lead wire can get knocked or overheat and become a hazard.
u) Some products include a GLASS panel! Always use extreme caution when handling glass. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or property damage.
v) Select a suitable location that is not susceptible to moisture and is away from drapes, curtains, furniture and high-traffic areas.
w) Check the fire is working before installing
x) Do not remove the plug from the appliance this will cancel your warranty
